Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the law my servant Moses gave you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, that you may be successful wherever you go. 8 Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. God's blessings (happiness, peace & contentment – well-being) come to those who treasure God's Word, and read it, understand it, influenced by it and obey it! God’s blessings include the blessing of strength. The word of God is a great source of strength. Reading and meditating on it gives assurance that builds faith leading to inner strength. God wants you to stay the course by following the instruction of the word and walking as he has commanded. Do not be a hearer only, be a doer of His word and enjoy the blessing of strength that comes with it. It is people of “this book” that ultimately emerge as people of strength. “This book” has a time tested history of strengthening the weak, the weary and the worn-down. Be a person of the word and you will be a person of strength in a wearisome world. What your attitude is will determine your level of faith so we need to start knowing what we believe that is to have assurance of our faith which comes by hearing and hearing the word of God. Keep growing through reading and meditation. The word is a source of strength.
