If you falter in times of trouble, how small is your strength! Prov 24:10
In difficult times it is easy to give way to discouragement. According to the above when that happens, it is a sign that one’s strength is small. Small strength does not avail much. That is true of human strength it falters in the day of adversity yet with God we grow from strength to strength through troubles. As intimidating as some challenges can be remember those moments when humanly speaking you were cornered by trouble and you escaped unhurt.
There are times when it is easier to falter than to keep holding. It seems like there is nothing to hold on to anymore. But for the child of God, there is always one more move to make. Bitter experiences can make you a better believer. Like Paul, we may be down but never out. Be strong; do not let what you go through define where you go. Use the lenses of faith to look at your circumstances; it will help you develop courage. Never overate your trouble be strong in the Lord and look at your trouble from the Lord’s angle.
