You are my strength; I wait for you to rescue me, for you, O God, are my place of safety. Psalms 59:9   We always desire instant answers to all our prayers, and when it does not happen, we start to panic and worry. In our walk with Christ, we have seen bad things coming to good people, and good things come to bad people. Like the son of Asaph in Psalm 73 one almost concludes that it does not pay to serve God. Such times need inner strength to stand steadfast and immovable. Consider these great words from the bible: But those who wait on the LORD will find new strength. They will fly high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint. Isaiah 40:31 (NLT) For all things work out for good for all those who are in Christ Jesus. Bad things come to good people in the process of serving Him, Be strong for when we endure and wait on God, we harvest goodness out of the bad. The cross was a bad thing, but it purchased the salvation of the world. In times of trouble many people fail because they are not patient.  They do not wait for the timing of God especially when others seem to be progressing or escaping the troubles.

POWER THOUGHT OF THE DAY   Delay is not denial wait on the Lord. Troubles do not last forever
