Look to the Lord and his strength; seek his face always. 12 Remember the wonders he has done, his miracles, and the judgments he pronounced, 1 Chron 16:11-12

Andrew Murray once wrote God's eye is upon His people: their eye is upon Him. In waiting upon God, our eye, looking up to Him, meets His looking down upon us.[1] Looking to God means doing everything from his perspective and includes seeking to know His will before proceeding with life decisions. By looking to God, we avoid making decisions based on what we see and hear.  All of us are worried about the things around us and worry the outcome would not be good. At times others would probably go through all of the scenarios in their head about what the possible outcomes are.  In an environment awash with social media, opinions and rumours can easily replace reality and truth. This can lead to worrying about things that are not true and do not even exist. The solution is to find strength by looking to God. When we look at God each day, we end up being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience, and joyfully 12 giving thanks to the Father  Col 1:11-12. Look beyond the storms, billows and the boisterous winds, lift up your eyes beyond the dark clouds and look to God. He is our strength.

POWER THOUGHT OF THE DAY

When the outlook is challenging try the up-look.
