Say to those with fearful hearts, "Be strong, do not fear; your God will come, Isaiah 35:4

God is never away from His people, but here we have the words. God will come. Come from where? This is the Holy Spirit putting things in our perspective. Each time there is a challenge you need some power to come in and intervene. When there is a fire, we know the firemen will come, when there is trouble, we know the police will come. In the same manner when we face challenges we need to find strength in the fact that God will intervene to quench the fire of troubles or to arrest the trouble making circumstances. Today trust God to keep you strong. He does not change; he will never forsake his own. Consider these words “Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne? “Though she may forget, I will not forget you! See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands; your walls are ever before me” Isaiah 49:15-16. So the writer of Hebrews says you need to persevere, so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised. For in just a little while, he who is coming will come, and will not delay (Hebrews 10:36-37). Be strong, you will be rewarded. Be strong, your God will come for you without delay.
