DAY 16 BE STRONG – FOR THE SAKE OF THE ASSIGNMENT

Then Moses summoned Joshua and said to him in the presence of all Israel, "Be strong and courageous, for you must go with this people into the land that the Lord swore to their forefathers to give them, Deut 31:7  

God has given each believer an assignment, Ephesians 2:10, but at times our assignments can be threatened. He says be strong.  God finds delight when we as his people fulfil the assignments he has given to us. Given that, he is there with us all the way. He has a plan and a promise for his children, individually. He is not a man that he should lie; His plans and purposes will always prevail. It looks like when God has a specific plan nothing can stand in his way.

  God’s accompanying presence is meant to enable us to accomplish the assignment. For the sake of God’s agenda of you walking in God’s works, you are to be strong. Nehemiah responded to his opposition in a strong way, “I am carrying on a great project and cannot come down….” Nehemiah 6:3. Great is the work that God has called you to do, do not allow anything to stop you from accomplishing your God-given assignment.

  POWER THOUGHT OF THE DAY  It is impossible for God to lie so it must be possible for his children to believe.
