Co-Heirs

“Because you are his sons, God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, the Spirit who calls out, “ Abba, Father.” So you are no longer a slave, but God’s child; and since you are his child, God has made you also an heir.” Galatians‬ ‭4:6-7‬ ‭

Being a son of God means you are an heir. You are entitled to a great inheritance. This  inheritance is not the merited , but it is a gracious right endowed upon you for being a son.

“Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ..” Rom 8:17‬. If we are co-heirs with Christ we have to ask what did Christ inherit? “So he became as much superior to the angels as the name he has inherited is superior to theirs.” Heb‬ ‭1:4‬. Superior name here speaks of power and authority. That is what every believer co-inherited with Christ. You have power Christ.
