Churches Unity 3 

Paul urges believers to embrace and  embody the spirit of humility and selflessness. The call to do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit challenges us to examine our motives and attitudes. Paul encourages believers to value others above themselves, this is a far cry from recent cultural practices . When we prioritize the well-being and interests of our brothers in Christ, we contribute to the unity and strength of the body. True unity in the church is evident  when each member selflessly considers the needs and concerns of others, seeking to uplift and support one another in love.

A self-seeking attitude poses a significant danger to the unity of the church. When individuals prioritize their own desires, ambitions, and interests above the collective welfare of the body of Christ, it can lead to division, discord, and a lack of harmony within the church. Selfishness hinders the manifestation of genuine relationships and undermines the spirit of unity. By embracing humility and considering the needs of others, we actively contribute to a culture of unity and harmony within the church. As we strive to embody the selfless love of Christ, we become instruments of peace and unity, reflecting the heart of God to the world. Remember Psalm 133:1 It is GOOD and PLEASANT when God’s people live together in unity. Do your part respect other members of your church family.
