“Lord, who may dwell in your sacred tent? Who may live on your holy mountain? The one whose walk is blameless ...... Psalm 15:1-2
Being blameless means being innocent and free of wrongdoing. The blameless qualify to stand in the presence of God. For the New Testament believer blamelessness is a positional state that is imputed through salvation. It is a moral uprightness that God grants to the believer on account of Christ’s death. On the other hand their is moral blamelessness that comes through the believer’s desire to maintain positional blamelessness by walking in obedience. Blamelessness is a public moral stability that is sustained by private moral standards. God’s wisdom says “Better the poor whose walk is blameless than the rich whose ways are perverse.” Prov 28:6.
Do your best to please God. Private moral standards are the foundation of public moral standing.
