““Master,” said John, “we saw someone driving out demons in your name and we tried to stop him, because he is not one of us.” “Do not stop him,” Jesus said, “for whoever is not against you is for you.” Luke 9:49-50
Jesus reminds the disciples that they do not have to stop people from doing g God’s work because they are not walking with them. Unfortunately in these last day we we have this mentality. Some Christian circles think that they their church or their man of God have exclusive rights to God.
We need the attitude of Paul: “But what does it matter? The important thing is that in every way, whether from false motives or true, Christ is preached. And because of this I rejoice. Yes, and I will continue to rejoice,” Ph 1:18.
Let us rejoice and be happy to see the good news spreading we are not in competition. What is important is that Christ is being preached.
Blessings on your week.
