Well this one was meant to be a one day post but it seems feedback called for clarity. It's very easy for us to confuse our personal opinions and preferences with what the Bible teaches regarding an issue. For example on food Paul had this to say; “People who eat anything must not think that they are better than people who eat only vegetables. Also, people who eat only vegetables must not judge other people who eat anything. They are not doing anything wrong, because God himself has accepted them.” Romans 14:3
To reduce arguments as we serve we should distinguish between Bible truths and personal opinions. When personal opinions are confused with essential truths disagreements are inevitable. Look at what has happened around Covid and Covid protocols. Differing opinions have caused unnecessary confusion even in the body of Christ. Unfortunately few were ready to disagree agreeably.
