Greetings Jn 10:11 “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep The Lord is our shepherd in times like these. When you think of the work of a shepherd and look at the Lord as our shepherd it is so encouraging. In these days of the coronavirus we can trust the Lord to see us through. There is nothing coming our way that is beyond His reach.
Here is what the Lord does for us as a shepherd.
S – Sustains us with His Sufficient Grace 2 Cor 12:9
H- Heals us from all diseases. Ps 103:3
E – Empowers us by his Holy Spirit. Acts 1:8
P – Provides our needs according to His riches. Phil 4:19
H – Helps us when we are weak. 1 Cor 12:10 Rom 8:26
E – Encompasses us as the mountains surround Jerusalem. Ps 125:2
R – Reassures us by his accompanying presence. Is 43:19 Heb 13:5
D – Defends us when the enemy attacks. Is 59:19 As a Child Of God never lose sight of who Jesus Christ is as a good shepherd. Whatever we go through in this life we are safe in His hands. Remember His Words
My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand. Jn 10:27-29
